Guru-Shishya Parampara

Aatmalaya academy believes that teaching is the art of self-discovery. Dr. Padmaja acquired intense training from a tender age under the able tutelage of renowned Gurus like Guru K Kalyanasundaram, Guru Kalamandalam Rajalakshmi, Guru Kalanidhi Narayanan, Guru Mahalingam Pillai, Guru Maya Rao, and Guru Kadirvelu in various aspects of dance. She has been a proficient student of notable music teachers as well and completed her doctoral thesis in philosophy and dance under Prof. V N Sheshagiri Rao, University of Mysore.

Some of the Shishyas who have been actively involved in the institution in the country and abroad are Aarti, Anagha, Anita, Aparna,  Bhavya, Chandana, Indu, Janani,  Minal, Kruthika, Ojas, Ritu, Sandhya, Sarvesh, Satvik,  Sheela, Sudarshini, ,Tanisha, Tarini, Vaishali, Vijayalakshmi, Aarya, Sreya, Aditi and Saishree, and many others.
